As the Executive Officer within the Geological Survey of Queensland, you'll provide high-level, confidential support that underpins the effective operation of the Chief Government Geologist's office. This role suits someone who is highly organised, proactive and trusted to manage competing priorities with discretion and precision.
Your days will focus on coordinating executive workflows, managing correspondence and briefings, and ensuring meetings, events and communications are delivered to a high professional standard. You'll anticipate risks, track priorities and maintain systems that keep strategic and operational commitments on course.
Working closely with senior leaders and internal and external stakeholders, you'll support business and strategic planning, coordinate corporate processes including HR, finance and procurement, and contribute to continuous improvement across GSQ. Your attention to detail and sound judgement will ensure confidential matters are handled appropriately and that the organisation operates efficiently and effectively.

- The ability to manage multiple complex projects and business processes.
- Ability to lead and supervise a geographically dispersed, multi-disciplinary team.
