Competitive salary and benefits:

  • Salary range: $128,169 to $137,918 p.a. (HP4)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading

About your opportunity

  • Deliver high quality Oral Health Therapy services within the Townsville Hospital and Health Service (THHS), at fixed and mobile dental clinics to eligible clients, as an active member of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Promote oral health at an individual, community, and population level within the THHS.
  • Provide leadership in the provision of evidence based dental and oral health therapy practice and education, and support students and less experienced oral health practitioners.
  • Facilitate the development and implementation of health promotion and quality improvement activities within the School Dental Service.

Requirements:

  • This position requires the incumbent to possess a minimum Bachelor of Oral Health Therapy or relevant equivalent qualification from a recognised tertiary institution.
  • Registration as a Dental Practitioner (Oral Health Therapist) with the Australian Dental Board.
