About us:
The Gladstone Nurse-Led Clinic is a vital new addition to the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service. Designed to complement existing emergency and GP services, the clinic provides free, non-life-threatening care to the Gladstone community. We are a team dedicated to "Amazing Care" and "Connected Teams," ensuring our patients receive the right treatment in the right setting at the right time.
About the role:
- Deliver advanced autonomous clinical practice in a high-profile walk-in clinic setting.
- Provide expert assessment, treatment, and referral for patients with minor injuries and illnesses.
- Lead clinical governance and operational leadership within the unit to ensure safety and quality.
- Utilize Health Management Protocols and the Primary Health Care Manual to guide complex decision-making.
- Mentor and support a work-based culture focused on education, research, and workforce development.
- Actively participate in quality improvement activities and safety management systems.
About you:
- You hold current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA and a valid practicing certificate.
- You possess advanced interpersonal skills and the ability to build culturally responsible rapport.
- You are a collaborative leader who fosters team interaction and acknowledges the contributions of others.
- You demonstrate self-reflection and the ability to modify behaviour during crises or change.
- You are action-oriented, driving results that exceed the expectations of patients and stakeholders.
- You apply ethical decision-making and take personal responsibility for achieving clinical goals.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $169,138 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $68.86 - $74.76 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
