Clinical Nurse role in community mental health rehabilitation
Join Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services as a Clinical Nurse (NG6.1) within the Logan Mobile Intensive Rehabilitation Team in a permanent full-time role based at Logan Central. You’ll deliver specialist, recovery-oriented mental health nursing care to consumers with complex needs in community settings, while contributing to clinical leadership, education and quality improvement within a multidisciplinary team.

Your new role:
In this role, you will provide advanced mental health nursing care to consumers with complex presentations, working autonomously within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation model that is trauma-informed, culturally sensitive and recovery focused.
You will:
- Deliver advanced mental health assessment, care planning and intervention
- Coordinate clozapine clinics, depot medication and physical health monitoring
- Facilitate individual and group-based rehabilitation programs
- Apply advanced clinical judgement in autonomous community-based practice
- Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement and service initiatives
About you:
You are an experienced mental health nurse with strong clinical capability and a passion for community-based psychiatric rehabilitation.
You will bring:
- NMBA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Advanced experience in mental health nursing practice
- Strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving and coordination skills
- Ability to work autonomously within multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to recovery-oriented, person-centred care
