Your Responsibilities:

As a Senior Administration Officer you will:

  • Develop, implement and maintain effective administrative systems, including systems relating to the management of human resources, finances, assets, performance reporting and business processes.
  • Provide timely, high-quality advice and support to the manager.
  • Manage the business processes relating to the human, financial and physical resources, including preparation of budget forecasts and expenditure, reconciliations and management of accommodation and assets.
  • Manage and supervise an administrative team and provide assistance, support and mentoring to administrative staff.
  • Participate as a member of the Management Team and contribute to strategic and operational planning, reviews and key decision making.
  • Liaise with participants, Departmental officers and other government and non-government organisations as necessary.
  • Enhance the local community by actively practicing and promoting excellence in service delivery and public administration and identify opportunities for improving participant service.
  • Recognise and contribute to the DSAS Governance Structure, supporting quality outcomes for participants through the delivery of quality services and continuous improvement.
