• Providing trauma-informed support and resources to victims to ensure they can recover and heal, whilst ensuring the voices and experiences of victims are heard and respected.
Our programs and community partnerships preserve cultural connections for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to achieve positive life outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
As Administration Officer (Restorative Justice), you will specifically:
- Demonstrate cultural capability and/or a commitment to developing cultural capability to ensure an inclusive culture that aligns with the Human Rights Act 2019 and supports departmental programs and community partnerships aimed at preserving cultural connections for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
- Provide administrative coordination and support in relation to Restorative Justice activities, including generating referrals on UNIFY, quality assurance of documentation received from Courts and Queensland Police Service, record keeping, planning forums, program development, management activities and quality reports and correspondence.
- Maintain effective administrative systems in Restorative Justice, including systems relating to asset management, financial, human resource, performance reporting and business processes.
- Liaise with internal and external clients and stakeholders in relation to inquiries relevant to Restorative Justice.
- Allocate, prioritise and perform tasks in accordance with departmental procedures and financial and administrative delegations.
- Participate productively and collaboratively as a member of the Restorative Justice team in delivering support and services to clients.
