Rockhampton Hospital's Cardiac Services is a premier regional hub. Our multidisciplinary team provides a full continuum of care, from diagnostic investigations to interventional procedures. We pride ourselves on a supportive environment where we work together for our community.
About the role:
- Lead operational and clinical management of the Cardiac Catheter Laboratory.
- Manage human and material resources to ensure high-quality service.
- Monitor performance and outcomes to drive continuous service improvement.
- Build team engagement through transformational leadership and evidence-informed care.
- Develop systems for quality assurance and business integrity.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to meet emerging service needs.
About you:
- You hold a Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent) and current AHPRA registration.
- You have advanced knowledge of interventional cardiology and recovery nursing.
- You possess proven experience in clinical unit operational and HR management.
- You are a skilled leader who can build capability within a nursing team.
- You demonstrate expert problem-solving skills and resource management.
- You are an effective communicator who leads with honesty, integrity, and respect.
- You have experience in analysing service data to achieve key performance indicators.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $169,138 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $136,538 - $148,242 p.a.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
