We’re seeking a dedicated Ranger in Charge to manage the Bribie Island Recreation Area and the Pumicestone Passage section of Moreton Bay Marine Park. Key responsibilities include staff supervision, workplace health and safety, natural resource management, infrastructure maintenance, visitor management, and field based compliance and enforcement.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in resource allocation, and the ability to foster a positive team environment. As this is a high visitation area, regular visitor compliance patrols are essential. Weekend and school holiday work is required.

This position is responsible for management of the Bribie Island Recreation Area, Pumicestone Passage section of Moreton Bay Marine Park. Experience in staff supervision, leadership, workplace health and safety, natural resource management, infrastructure development and maintenance, visitor management, procurement and allocation of resources to support work program delivery and high level of experience in field-based compliance and enforcement are key requirements of the role. The successful applicant will require the ability to communicate clearly and maintain a positive and supportive approach within a team environment.
The Bribie Island Recreation Area including the Pumicestone Passage are high visitation areas where there is a strong focus on regular visitor compliance including patrols. This role is required to work on weekends and during school holidays.
