Your new role:

This is a senior clinical leadership role delivering advanced, person-centred care within community-based Addiction Services, with a strong focus on Queensland Opioid Dependence Treatment (QODT).

  • Provide advanced assessment, diagnosis, treatment and prescribing for people with alcohol and other drug issues within a community setting.
  • Work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to coordinate complex, recovery-focused care pathways.
  • Lead and support nurse-led models of care, driving service innovation, system improvement and integrated care delivery.
  • Contribute to quality improvement, education, research and clinical governance aligned with contemporary evidence-based practice.

About you:

You are an experienced and confident Nurse Practitioner who brings clinical expertise, leadership and a strong commitment to person-centred, recovery-oriented care.

  • Endorsed Nurse Practitioner with a Master's qualification and extensive clinical experience in Alcohol and Other Drugs or addiction services.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, exercise advanced clinical judgement and manage complex, unpredictable presentations.
  • Strong communicator and collaborator, able to engage effectively with consumers, families, multidisciplinary teams and external agencies.
  • Passionate about clinical excellence, continuous improvement, education and contributing to innovative models of care that improve outcomes.
