Join North West Hospital and Health Service (NWHHS) as a Staff Accommodation Administration Officer and play a key role in supporting our workforce through the effective management of staff accommodation. This permanent full time position provides the opportunity for excellence in supporting our staff accommodation portfolio to ensure attraction and retention of staff across the NWHHS.

About the role

You will provide essential administrative support across the staff accommodation portfolio. This role works with multiple departments across the Hospital and Health Service to delivery high quality, cost effective and client focused services in accordance with Queensland Health policies, procedures and legislative guidelines.

  • Manage the administration of staff accommodation, including lease and rental agreements, documentation, financial processing and customer enquiries.
  • Coordinate inspections, security checks and preventative maintenance, to maintain safe, compliant and high quality accommodation.
  • Work collaboratively with engineering, maintenance and internal stakeholders to identify risks, resolve issues and improve accommodation outcomes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of systems, processes and work practices while supporting ethical, safe and culturally inclusive service delivery.

Requirements

  • Whilst there are no mandatory qualifications, experience in Residential Tenancy Management or roles within a similar position would be highly desirable.
  • Travel to facilities for service delivery is required.
  • This position may require travel across the North West Hospital and Health Service area via, light and commercial aircraft as well as long distance vehicle travel.
  • C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
  • Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.
  • This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
  • A period of probation may apply.
