About the role:

In this role, you will work closely with the Director – Project Management Office to provide project management and change management to support for the successful delivery of complex, high-risk strategic projects in Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service to support the delivery of Central Queensland Health's Destination 2030 and its key strategic objectives.

  • Lead and manage the planning for projects of significant scope and strategic importance, ensuring project plans and supporting documentation supports and enables project delivery, monitoring progress and reporting as required.
  • Source, analyse and visually present data from the relevant sources to inform service planning and improvement activities.
  • Prepare reports, submissions, briefing notes, ministerial correspondence and policy documentation as required.

About you:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in project management and governance, planning and design, and associated business case development processes; contemporary governance mechanisms including policy; and a working knowledge of health care systems and service providers.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management including the ability to lead all aspects of high level strategic project and engage with key stakeholders and implement contemporary change management methodologies.
  • Highly developed skills and experience in proactively monitoring trends, identifying and analysing problems, developing and implementing remedial strategies and exercising initiative and responsibility.
  • Demonstrated ability to use high level communication, interpersonal, consultation, partnership and negotiation skills to create a strong client focus, influence the decisions, action or perceptions of stakeholders and achieve outcomes.

What we offer:

Total monthly remuneration value of up to $14,000 p.m. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $72.61 - $77.84 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
