We're excited to welcome a Pharmacy Assistant Senior (Cancer Care) to our Pharmacy Team.

The common objective of the Pharmacy Service is that patients derive maximum benefit from medications whilst being exposed to minimum risk. This purpose will be achieved by the deployment of a skilled and caring pharmacy workforce.

The position will provide high level pharmaceutical services to the patients of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service in accordance with their needs and the policies and priorities of the Health Service.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Provide high level support to Pharmacists on the clinical units, preparing medication orders, admission histories, discharge medication records and enter allergy documentation across relevant platforms within scope of practice.
• Maintain and manage ward imprest and restocking including ordering, receiving, storage, distribution and stocktake of medicines.
• Dispense and prepare prescriptions utilising iPharmacy and other electronic systems including CHARM and BOLT (Slade).
• Work autonomously on the clinical unit's entering and updating clinical information under the supervision of a pharmacist.

Remuneration value up to $37,125 p.a, comprising salary rates $38.36- $41.02 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (CA4) (permanent part time position, 30.4 hrs p.f.).
