Your new role:
As a Senior Occupational Therapist (HP4), you will deliver advanced, evidence-based occupational therapy services to older adults presenting to the Emergency Department. You will provide clinical leadership, support patient flow and safety, and contribute to service development within a high-performing interdisciplinary team.
In this role, you will:
- Deliver complex geriatric OT assessment, intervention and discharge planning
- Act as a senior clinical reference within Emergency and Allied Health teams
- Supervise and support HP3 clinicians, students and Allied Health Assistants
- Lead and contribute to quality improvement and service development initiatives
About you:
You are an experienced Occupational Therapist who thrives in complex, fast-paced clinical environments and brings strong clinical judgement and leadership capability.
You will bring:
- Current AHPRA registration and tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Advanced experience delivering OT services in emergency or acute settings
- Strong clinical leadership, supervision and mentoring skills
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage complexity with confidence
