Your new role:

As the Clinical Nurse Facilitator – Emergency Department, you will provide advanced clinical leadership, education, and coordination to support safe, high-quality, person-centred emergency care while strengthening capability across the multidisciplinary team.

  • Deliver advanced clinical expertise in assessment, care planning, and management of patients with complex and acute emergency presentations
  • Lead and facilitate clinical education, orientation, simulation, and ongoing professional development for nursing and multidisciplinary staff
  • Coordinate and support unit operations including clinical leadership, quality improvement, risk management, and practice standards
  • Act autonomously and provide professional leadership across clinical, education, research, and service improvement portfolios

About you:

You are an experienced emergency nurse and clinical leader who is passionate about education, quality care, and building team capability in a fast-paced environment.

  • Registered Nurse with NMBA registration and a Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent), with postgraduate emergency nursing study highly desirable
  • Demonstrated advanced clinical judgement, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills within emergency or acute care settings, ideally with ED triage experience
  • Proven ability to mentor, teach, and support staff development through facilitation, simulation, and evidence-based education
  • Strong communicator and collaborative leader with experience in quality improvement, change management, and fostering a positive team culture
