Your new role:
As the Clinical Nurse within the Bayside Community Care Unit, you will provide advanced, recovery-focused mental health nursing care to adults with complex needs, supporting their transition to independent community living in a 24/7 residential rehabilitation setting.
- Deliver expert clinical assessment, care planning and coordination for consumers with complex mental health presentations, ensuring safe, person-centred and evidence-based care
- Provide clinical leadership, supervision and delegation to nursing staff, contributing to shift coordination, education, and a positive team culture
About you:
You are a confident and compassionate Registered Nurse with advanced mental health experience who thrives in autonomous practice and enjoys guiding others to deliver high-quality care.
- Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge and problem-solving skills in mental health or rehabilitation nursing, with the ability to manage complex presentations
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience mentoring staff, facilitating learning, and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to recovery-oriented, strengths-based and person-centred care, with the ability to build trust with consumers and families
