About us:
The North Rockhampton Nursing Centre (NRNC) is a 120-bed facility dedicated to providing high-quality residential aged care and interim care. Our facility is divided into specialized wings, including dementia-specific care, all focused on a person-centered approach. We work together to ensure our residents receive compassionate, high-standard care in a supportive, community-focused environment.
About the role:
- Deliver direct advanced nursing care for residents with complex disabilities in line with Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Lead nursing practice reviews and promote evidence-based practices to improve resident outcomes.
- Facilitate unit orientation and mentoring to support the growth of nurses from novice to advanced practitioners.
- Role model effective communication and problem-solving within the multidisciplinary team.
- Coordinate clinical care programs and ensure the effective use of unit resources.
About you:
- You hold current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA and a current practicing certificate.
- You have a proven ability to assess, plan, and review clinical care for residents with complex needs.
- You demonstrate a person-centered approach to residential aged care and quality improvement.
- You are a mentor who can support and develop clinical staff to achieve high-performance standards.
- You possess well-developed interpersonal skills that support effective delegation and team collaboration.
- You are committed to your own professional development and maintaining clinical competencies.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $135,857 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $56.08 - $60.05 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
