About us:
The Theodore Multipurpose Health Service (MPHS) is a 10-bed facility located in a picturesque outback setting 229km southwest of Rockhampton. We provide a diverse range of services, including emergency, acute care, residential aged care, and telehealth. Our team is currently redesigning our care delivery model to better meet the future needs of our community, making this an exciting time to join our mission of providing Great Care for Central Queenslanders.
About the role:
- Provide advanced operational and clinical leadership across all multipurpose service streams.
- Coordinate safe, high-quality care delivery aligned with clinical governance and safety standards.
- Manage human and material resources effectively to achieve service performance targets.
- Lead change management processes and respond to emerging trends in regional healthcare.
- Implement evidence-based clinical practices and quality improvement frameworks.
About you:
- You are a Registered Nurse with current registration through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- You have advanced clinical knowledge in nursing, service coordination, and interdisciplinary care management.
- You possess a proven ability to mentor, lead, and support staff in a positive practice environment.
- You are an effective communicator who can negotiate and build respectful collegial relationships.
- You take personal accountability for standards of care and demonstrate a commitment to service excellence.
- You are a collaborative leader who involves colleagues in decision-making and effectively manages change.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $169,138 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $68.86 - $74.76 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
