Change Manager, IACMP Project

The Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) is undertaking a project to transform patient information continuity and clinical decision-making support across the QAS patient journeys. The NextGen eARF - Integrated Ambulance Care Management Platform Project (IACMP) will deliver a single, patient‑centric record that follows the patient across incidents, services, and organisations.
The Change Manager is a key member of the IACMP; responsible for leading and managing the organisational change activities for the successful delivery of the IACMP. The role will support Program Manager and Senior Project Officer by providing expert change management advice and delivery outcomes. The Change Manager will analyse and document the business system change impacts and business readiness assessments for the introduction of the new system.

We are seeking applicants who, within the context of the role responsibilities, possess the following key attributes:
- Demonstrated capability and experience in the coordination and delivery of contemporary, best practice change management services and support within a complex, geographically diverse organisation providing critical services to the community on a 24/7 basis.
- Proven ability to manage significant, organisation-wide projects to achieve required organisational outcomes, in line with approved project management methodologies, timeframes and budget parameters.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and to respond positively and flexibly to change and uncertainty, taking personal responsibility for meeting objectives and progressing work, showing initiative and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated skills in cultivating productive, influential relationships and effectively engaging, communicating, consulting and negotiating with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders, in a rapidly changing environment.
- Proven highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively analyse and assess business system impacts and develop appropriate change management strategies that ensure organisation-wide changes are implemented successfully, with minimal impact on frontline service delivery and business operations.
- Demonstrated experience in preparing, coordinating and presenting quality advice, briefings and reports to a wide range of stakeholders and the proven ability to influence strategic outcomes.
The following mandatory requirements, special conditions and/or other requirements apply to this role:
- Knowledge of Managing Successful Programs (MSP) and Prince2 is highly desirable.
