Sport and Recreation supports and encourages participation and success in sport and active recreation through delivery of: grant funding for sport and active recreation organisations and clubs, infrastructure and participation programs, the operation of precincts and venues and through engaging and partnering with the active industry across Queensland.

This is your opportunity:
• Leading high-quality analysis and insights with action-oriented summaries to support Sport and Recreation's strategic portfolio.
• Extracting, manipulating and analysing data using various reporting and analysis tools to provide clear, accurate information that meet project and reporting requirements and enhance decision making and public accountability.
• Providing team leadership and applying project management methodology to deliver timely, high quality project outcomes, managing risks and emerging issues, identifying opportunities for improvement and preparing project management documents.
• Being a lead member of multi-disciplinary and cross-service area teams and collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders to identify solutions, resolve issues and manage risks in order to deliver priority projects and provide evidence based and timely strategic advice to senior managers.
• Building and sustaining effective, collaborative working relationships with team members and diverse internal and external stakeholders to leverage resources and technical expertise.
• Providing professional, expert and timely advice to colleagues and senior management to inform strategy, direction and generation of solutions to complex problems.
• Preparing high quality documentation, reports, executive briefs, submissions and presentations and on significant projects and issues.
• Contribute to a workplace culture based on values and behaviours, ensuring a positive work environment that is safe, healthy, diverse, respectful and inclusive.
