Your new role:

As the Advanced Pharmacist – Medication Safety and Quality, you will provide expert clinical leadership to drive safe, high-quality use of medicines across Bayside Health Service.  You will:

• Deliver advanced clinical and consultancy services in medication safety, quality improvement and NSQHS compliance
• Lead the development, implementation and monitoring of medication safety systems, audits and improvement initiatives
• Provide clinical leadership, education and mentoring to pharmacists and multidisciplinary teams
• Act as a specialist advisor and reference point for medication safety, governance and quality use of medicines

About you:

You are an experienced pharmacist with strong clinical judgement and a passion for improving patient safety through leadership and innovation. You have:

• Demonstrable advanced clinical expertise in medication safety, quality improvement and governance
• Proven ability to lead, influence and support multidisciplinary teams in complex clinical environments
• Strong communication, consultancy and change management skills
• The motivation to drive continuous improvement, research and evidence-based practice in healthcare

Redland Hospital is the major health centre for adults and children in the Redlands and Brisbane's southern bayside suburbs. We provide a range of services including emergency care, primary health and minor injury care, acute and subacute medicine, general surgery, maternity and paediatric, mental specialist outpatient and mental health care.
