Your new role:
As a Clinical Nurse (NG6.1) in Ward 3D, you will provide advanced clinical nursing care to rehabilitation and acute stroke patients while leading practice, supporting staff capability and driving quality outcomes. Working across inpatient, acute stroke and ReACH models, you will operate autonomously within a multidisciplinary team and act as a senior clinical resource for the unit.
In this role, you will:
- Deliver advanced assessment, care planning and coordination for complex rehab and stroke patients
- Provide day-to-day clinical leadership and support decision-making across the unit
- Supervise, mentor and support nursing staff, students and support workers
- Contribute to quality improvement, safety initiatives and service development
About you:
You are an experienced Registered Nurse with strong clinical judgement who thrives in complex environments and enjoys leading others through best practice care.
You will bring:
- Advanced clinical experience in rehabilitation, stroke or acute medical nursing
- Strong leadership, delegation and clinical supervision capability
- Well-developed critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to person-centred care, safety and continuous improvement
