About the Role:
- Calm, emotionally regulated, and consistent practice under pressure
- Strong behaviour-management and de-escalation skills with complex, high-risk students
- A trauma-informed, relationship-focused approach to supporting students
- Clear communication skills and the ability to follow Behaviour Support Plans, safety protocols, and risk controls with fidelity
- High levels of emotional regulation, resilience, and sound professional judgement
- Capacity to work safely and autonomously in unpredictable environments
- Proven experience supporting students with complex behavioural needs
- Strong understanding of WHS requirements and the ability to operate within them
