Your new role:
In this advanced practice position, you will provide expert clinical leadership, consultancy and direct care to support the Mental Health Hospital in the Home (MH-HITH) program.
- Deliver advanced mental health assessment, risk management and person-centred care across the care continuum
- Provide clinical consultancy, guidance and support to nurses and the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, evidence-based practice
- Lead service improvement, clinical governance, policy and protocol development aligned with quality standards
- Mentor, educate and role model best practice while supporting workforce capability, change and innovation
About you:
You are an experienced mental health nurse with strong clinical judgement, leadership capability and a passion for delivering high-quality care outside traditional hospital settings.
- Advanced clinical expertise in mental health nursing, including comprehensive assessment and care planning
- Proven leadership, communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary environments
- Experience supervising, coaching and educating staff to build confident, capable teams
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, quality improvement and delivering safe, compassionate, person-centred outcomes
