Your Opportunity
You will provide hands‑on technical leadership across data integration, analytics and modern reporting tools, overseeing improvements to key products such as the Queensland Government Infrastructure Pipeline (QGIP). You will design and deliver automated dashboards, uplift data literacy, and embed robust data governance to support reforms and ongoing business improvements. Your leadership will help deliver accessible, accurate, and actionable insights that guide the planning and delivery of Queensland's capital pipeline.

Your Responsibilities - In this role, you will:
• Lead research, analysis and interpretation of whole‑of‑government infrastructure data to produce high‑quality insights that drive planning, delivery and performance improvements.
• Provide end‑to‑end technical leadership for key initiatives including pipeline visibility, construction market intelligence and existing infrastructure datasets.
• Oversee and continually improve data‑driven products (e.g. QGIP), including data architecture, interfaces and business processes to support better advice and decisions.
• Lead the design and delivery of enterprise reporting, analytics and spatial solutions, including automation, refresh schedules, standards and roadmaps.
• Develop and maintain data governance and assurance frameworks, ensuring security, integrity, metadata and documentation meet whole‑of‑government expectations.
• Identify, manage and resolve complex data and stakeholder issues including inconsistent definitions and data gaps.
• Provide strategic, expert advice—including dashboards and evidence packs—to support planning, prioritisation and coordination across government.
• Lead agency engagement to anticipate reporting needs, negotiate standards and build communities of practice to uplift analytics capability.
