Head of Special Education Services (H01) - Wynnum State High School

Wynnum State High School is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Head of Special Education Services to lead inclusive practices and the delivery of high-quality support for students with diverse learning needs.
Our Inclusive Education program includes a Head of Inclusive Education, Lead Case Managers for each phase of learning, a QCIA Coordinator, Differentiation Teachers, and Case Managers.
Our Teacher Aides work alongside teaching staff to support students in accessing learning with their same-aged peers.
This Temporary position will commence immediately until 25 June 2027 unless otherwise determined.

Step Into Your Next Chapter:
- Lead the delivery of high-quality advice and support provided by the Inclusive Education team
- Provide high quality advice to the school leadership team, classroom teachers and other school staff to develop, plan and implement effective reasonable adjustments for students with disability.
- Coordinate case management for students who require extensive or substantial adjustments.
- Support Lead Case managers and Case Managers to access departmental or other external specialist services, professional development, and supports as needed.
- Participate in school decision making processes as well as professional development to contribute to school goals, vision and planning.
