The ERP Project is a key initiative aimed at transitioning the department's Corporate Finance Solution from SAP ECC6 to the S4 Hana Private Cloud edition. This modernisation will enhance the department's financial system, ensuring improved service delivery and efficiency.

Your Role:

As the Senior Project Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the successful delivery of the ERP Project by:

  • Managing the development, implementation and monitoring of project plans
  • Coordinate activities and resources
  • Collaborate with teams across the department to achieve project objectives.
  • Based in Brisbane City with flexible work options available

Position reports directly to the Project Director

Responsibilities include:

In this role, you will:

  • Develop, implement and monitor project plans and phases to achieve project objectives.
  • Coordinate activities and resources across various teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Manage communication, liaison, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide high quality advice, reports and updates to senior management and project stakeholders.
  • Promote governance, risk management and compliance with departmental policies and procedures.

About You:

To excel in this role, you will:

  • Demonstrate previous experience in complex digital projects in particular migration of SAP ECC6 to S4 Hana Private Edition.
  • Demonstrate strong project management skills, including planning, coordination and monitoring.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Show a commitment to fostering inclusive and collaborative workplaces.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem solving and achieving project outcomes.
  • Uphold high standards of governance, accountability and professional practice.
