We're excited to welcome an Oral Health Therapist to Oral Health, Community and Preventive Health.

Oral Health Therapists work to provide a high standard of clinical care, treating both adult and paediatric patients and working on site at schools and at hospital and community clinics.
Adult based clinics are located at Caloundra, Maroochydore, Sunshine Coast University Hospital, Nambour, Noosa and Gympie.
School based services are provided at clinics located at Caloundra, Maroochydore and Nambour and at 14 mobile dental clinics distributed across the Sunshine Coast.
Oral Health services are provided to patient groups that meet the eligibility criteria for accessing public dental services in Queensland.
Key Responsibilities include:
- This position requires you to adhere to National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards and the Sunshine Coast Health Safe Care Framework, which has been developed in collaboration with staff, consumers and key stakeholders to enable our vision of health and wellbeing through person-centred care.
- Deliver oral health therapy services including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of complex care needs of consumers in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards.
As experience builds, apply increasingly independent clinical judgement and problem-solving skills to more complex clinical decision making and matters. - Meet clinical and operational key performance indicators and targets.
- Provide evidence base care by fostering and committing to patient safety and quality in the delivery of health care by maintaining and evaluating safety and quality practices and initiatives.
Remuneration value up to $132 567 p.a., comprising salary between $75 051 - $116 189 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP3).
