Your new opportunity:
The Financial Reporting unit, part of Queensland Treasury's Fiscal Strategy & Financial Reporting (FSFR) division, is seeking a dedicated Senior FMC Analyst to join their team. FSFR provides expert policy advice on the State's financial position, financial management practices and governance, while supporting critical deliverables such as the State Budget, the Report on State Finances, and Quarterly Reporting to the ABS.
As a Senior FMC Analyst, you will work within a collaborative team to provide essential client support services, manage financial reporting systems, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality financial information that underpins Queensland Treasury's key initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact on the State's fiscal management and reporting processes.
In this role, you will:
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to deliver client support services for the Tridata/FRaMES system and FMC web portal.
• Manage client issues and queries related to whole-of-government data requirements, processes, and system tools through the FMC help desk.
• Communicate with system users and clients by providing help desk notifications, hosting user forums, and delivering online training sessions.
• Prepare user requirements and testing documentation for system changes and developments.
• Liaise with internal and external system specialists to ensure system tools are maintained, accurate, and aligned with user requirements.
What experience you will bring:
• Proven ability to maintain effective working relationships with work colleagues, stakeholders and clients.
• Adaptability to thrive in a diverse, dynamic, and demanding environment.
• Experience working with budgeting and financial reporting systems.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
Whilst there are no mandatory qualifications needed for this role, relevant qualifications will be highly regarded.
