About the Team

The Strategy and Transformation Division is a dynamic support function that leads critical strategic and transformation initiatives across the HHS and broader statewide paediatric network. We are a team that encourages creativity, critical thinking and a growth mindset and apply evidence-based methodologies across the complex healthcare context. As a team we:

  • Use our diverse experience and skills to bring clarity to complexity and help describe and mature CHQ's approach to delivering value in a complex system.
  • Provide trusted, objective, evidence-informed advice on complicated challenges and how to deliver sustainable and locally owned transformation and change.
  • Use our relational strengths, understanding of frameworks and methodologies, and practical experience to enable high priority change and transformation work across CHQ.
  • Contribute to a talent pipeline of effective leaders through a commitment to inclusive team immersion, coaching, capability building and skills development in others.

About the Role

The Program Manager, Strategy and Impact is a pivotal leadership role within CHQ's Strategy and Transformation Division. This role will be responsible for the leadership and program management of strategic, operational, and health service planning for CHQ. Working in close partnership with the Director and the Clinical Lead of Strategy and Impact, this role will design and translate organisational strategy into executable, integrated plans, and a prioritised portfolio of initiatives. You will leverage strategic insights and health service planning data, and work with the Executive and Board to align priorities and enable regular review as the system context evolves.
