About us
Binjour Plateau State School is a small rural school where the principal's role is primarily a teaching one. Our school motto is “Grow with Binjour.” Students are taught the Australian Curriculum in a multi-age classroom from Prep to Year 6. Quality results are achieved by teachers understanding each individual student's strengths and planning differentiated teaching and learning experiences using high-yield pedagogies. This provides students with opportunities to utilise their strengths when demonstrating their knowledge and understanding. Specialist teachers visit the school to teach Health & Physical Education, Music, and Chinese (Year 3-6 students). Our school chaplain visits each Wednesday to support the wellbeing of staff, students, and families.
