Manager, BreastScreen Queensland

The BreastScreen Queensland Central Support Unit provides stewardship and leadership for BreastScreen Queensland, focusing on quality, safety and consistency across the program. Two permanent manager positions are available. Both managers will be responsible for leading and managing complex system-wide initiatives, priorities and governance for the BreastScreen Queensland program within their particular portfolios. The Managers provide support and advice to executives and governance committees on complex strategic, policy and operational issues and work in partnership with BreastScreen Queensland services to support delivery of the program.

Manager – Quality, Partnerships and Governance
The Manager, Quality, Partnerships and Governance oversees the delivery of the quality management, governance and health promotion portfolios while fostering and maintaining collaborative partnerships with community and non-government organisations and consumers. The Manager also oversees the statewide BreastScreen Queensland Register.
Manager – Strategy, Policy and Operations
The Manager, Strategy, Policy and Operations leads system-level policy, performance management and monitoring, and strategic priorities and planning activities for BreastScreen Queensland. The Manager also oversees risk, procurement and contract management, and legal, workforce and complaint matters in addition to overseeing the Statewide Coordinated Reading Model.

- Proven ability to successfully lead a team, set direction, motivate and inspire staff, promoting an environment where staff are valued, developed and coached to perform at their full potential.
- Providing timely, accurate and concise advice to Senior Leadership and Executives to support discharge of their responsibilities and authorised delegations.
- Demonstrated agility and sensitivity in adapting to shifting priorities and leading through change in uncertain environments.
