With a dedicated team of 63 medical, nursing, allied health, operational and admin legends, this service delivers frontline care 24/7. From accident and emergency and inpatient hospital care to residential aged care, maternal and child health, public and school health, mental health, alcohol and drug services, chronic disease management (yes—including renal dialysis), and community home support—if it's health-related, it's happening here.
The service includes a 7-bed acute care hospital, a 2-bed Emergency Department, an emergency-only birthing suite, a 4-bed Residential Aged Care unit, community health and home care programs, plus a five-chair Renal Dialysis Unit supported by the Rockhampton Renal Clinic Outreach Program.
And it's growing—plans are underway to expand the hospital to include 14 Residential Aged Care beds, bringing even more services together under one roof. Big heart, broad scope, and a whole lot of impact.
