Your key responsibilities

• Provide administrative support within prescribed timeframes to assessment officers and other staff in accordance with legislation, policy and operational guidelines.
• Draft, prepare and send correspondence to external stakeholders following established policy and guidelines to ensure appropriate release of information.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to convey accurate and relevant information regarding the blue card system and individual/organisation obligations pursuant to the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000.
• Document activities using record management systems including accurately file noting phone calls with Blue Card Services stakeholders in line with Departmental policy and legislative requirements.
• Use sound judgement to make timely and informed decisions to escalate urgent or complex matters.
• Manage workload independently and solve problems within established guidelines to achieve work targets and contribute to team goals.
• Contribute positively to a team environment through collaboration, teamwork, problem solving, innovation and achieving results.
