About your role
Reporting to the Data Manager, Emergency, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity, accuracy and timeliness of Emergency Department data.
In this role, you will:
- Support daily, weekly and monthly data cleansing activities to meet mandatory and statutory reporting requirements
- Apply analytical techniques to produce accurate, fit-for-purpose reports and dashboards
- Provide systems advice, data analysis and technical support for departmental projects and quality initiatives
- Assist in the design and support of quality management surveys and service audits
- Provide advice, support and training to Emergency Department staff
- Maintain compliance with legislation, policies, standards and reporting requirements
About you
You are a detail-oriented and analytically strong data professional who thrives in dynamic clinical environments.
You will bring:
- Experience in data auditing, validation and statistical reporting
- Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel)
- Experience (or ability to rapidly acquire knowledge) in Queensland Health systems such as HBCIS, ieMR and FirstNet
- Experience within an Emergency Department environment will be highly regarded, as will relevant qualifications in health information, data analytics or a related field.

Redland Hospital is the major health centre for adults and children in the Redlands and Brisbane's southern bayside suburbs.
