Anakie State School is located approximately 45 kilometres west of Emerald in the renowned sapphire 'Gemfields' region. About the Role

As the Administrative Officer, you will contribute to the smooth operation of the school by providing timely and effective administrative support to the Principal and Business Manager.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing reception duties, including handling phone and counter enquiries, scheduling appointments, and processing correspondence.
  • Maintaining school records, such as enrolments, incident reports, and attendance data.
  • Assisting with financial tasks, including processing payments, reconciling invoices, and managing OneSchool data.
  • Supporting school operations by organising maintenance, safety inspections, and community facility bookings.
  • Preparing documents such as meeting minutes, newsletters, and reports, while ensuring compliance with school policies.

This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a dynamic school environment and is passionate about contributing to the success of students and staff.
