As a Clinical Nurse – Specialist Outpatients and Telehealth, you will provide advanced clinical leadership in referral coordination, triage, and clinic management. You will support timely patient access through Smart Referrals, CPC processes, and specialist service coordination.
You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external partners to deliver telehealth services, diagnostic programs, and quality improvements that enhance patient outcomes and service efficiency across the region.

What's involved – The Clinical Nurse Specialist Outpatients Department (SOPD) at Iningai Clinic at Longreach is responsible for providing clinical expertise in clinic coordination and management of referrals to enhance patient access to Telehealth and Specialist Outpatient Clinics. Clinical Prioritisation Criteria (CPC) and Smart Referrals are used to enhance appropriate patient access to Specialist Outpatients and telehealth appointments within the Central West Hospital and Health Service (CWHHS). This would also include knowledge of alternate services both internally and externally for CWHHS patients to access.
