🌺Associate Nurse Manager | Permanent Full Time | Thursday Island

🚀 About the role

This is a Monday to Friday, business hours role, no on-call, giving you the space to enjoy island life. This position is primarily leadership-focused, with less day-to-day clinical work and more responsibility supporting the service, the team, and operations. You'll be a key leader in a close-knit service, where your decisions and leadership will have a real and immediate contribution to Torres Strait communities.

We're looking for an Associate Nurse Manager who can:

• Support the NUM's in leading and coordinating the service
• Step in and keep things moving - calm, organised, and solutions-focused
• Manage competing priorities in a dynamic, sometimes unpredictable environment
• Use strong computer and administrative skills to support rostering, reporting, and day-to-day operations
• Build genuine relationships with staff and community
• Be flexible and willing to step in where needed
