About the Role

The Business Manager will play a pivotal role in the effective and efficient administrative management of the school, providing corporate services and support to the Principal. This position requires a proactive and organised professional who can deliver on priorities and adapt to a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing day-to-day office procedures, including reception, correspondence, and school records, while utilising systems like OneSchool for reporting and administration.
  • Supervising and managing school support staff, including recruitment, induction, training, and performance monitoring in collaboration with the Principal.
  • Assisting with budget preparation, financial management, and overseeing accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and banking.
  • Coordinating the management of school resources, assets, and facilities, including maintenance, minor works, and technical support for equipment.
  • Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with policies and provide advice and support.

This role would suit a detail-oriented professional with strong organisational skills and a passion for contributing to a thriving school community.

About You

  • Experience in administrative management, including human resources, finance, and facilities coordination.
  • Proficiency in using information management systems such as OneSchool or similar platforms.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and support staff effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Adaptability and problem-solving skills to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
