The Pharmacist – Advanced (Emergency) role provides clinical practice supervision and support to clinical pharmacists, clinical assistants, and pharmacy students as required and you will lead and manage the delivery of clinical Pharmacy and Medication management for the emergency services.
About your opportunity:
In this position you will…..
- Provide independent high level specialist clinical services of a complex and critical nature with significant scope to Cairns Hospital emergency services for both inpatients and outpatients.
- Liaise with patients and their families, other health professionals, supervisors, students and researchers, as required to ensure continuum of care.
- Participate in relevant meetings, monitor and report on clinical practices and outcomes within the clinical service area, and contribute to the preparation and presentation of key performance indicator (KPI) data and reports to relevant service meetings.
