About the role
As Pedagogy Coach, you will lead and support the implementation of high-quality teaching practices across the school, with a focus on improving student outcomes through collaborative, evidence-informed practice. Demonstrated expertise in enacting the Australian Curriculum, leading the pedagogy of Comprehensive Literacy, and supporting students with complex communication needs through robust AAC, is essential

Key responsibilities include:

  • Championing a culture of empowerment by working alongside staff to build capacity, encourage reflective practice, and strengthen professional confidence
  • Leading and supporting a whole-school approach to pedagogy for students with significant intellectual impairment and complex communication needs
  • Designing and implementing strategies that maximise student achievement, while supporting broader school and departmental priorities
  • Facilitating high-quality professional learning that builds teacher and education assistant capability
  • Monitoring instructional impact and student progress, ensuring professional learning translates into measurable improvements in practice and outcomes
  • Experience leading the implementation of school-wide processes within a comprehensive collegial engagement framework is highly regarded

  • Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland.
