Role details
The Oral Health Department at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Trainee Dental Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis.

Your opportunity
The Traineeship is designed to enhance work skill levels and future employment prospects by providing structured entry-level training through undertaking and completion of Certificate III in Dental Assisting.
This is done by combining on and off the job instruction to achieve a sound understanding of the Dental Assistant function.
About the Team
Mackay Oral Health have permanent clinics in Mackay, Proserpine and Bowen with outreach services to Sarina, Collinsville and Clermont. All clinics have recently been refurbished with modern equipment and adheres to strict standards. We are a training facility for James Cook University with final year dental student placements in Mackay and Proserpine. We deliver high quality services to eligible adult patients as well as school children through school dental services.
