In this role, you will provide administrative and project support to help deliver the objectives of the Office of the Chief Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workforce Officer. You will support the coordination, monitoring and delivery of key projects by preparing documentation, organising meetings and assisting with reporting and project activities. Your work will help ensure projects are delivered efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality, confidentiality and stakeholder engagement.

What you'll do

  • Support the planning, monitoring and tracking of project activities and deliverables, including assisting with reports and project documentation.
  • Coordinate project meetings and events, manage incoming meeting requests and ensure all documentation and background information is prepared.
  • Provide administrative and secretariat support, including managing sensitive information and preparing materials for meetings.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to support project delivery, provide updates on progress and contribute to continuous improvement of processes.

We are searching for someone who:

  • Demonstrates exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Has experience delivering high-level administrative and project support in a fast-paced environment.
  • Can manage multiple priorities, respond to competing requests and meet tight deadlines.
  • Works independently, shows initiative and knows when to collaborate or seek guidance.
  • Analyses issues, contributes to solutions and delivers high-quality work with minimal supervision.
  • Is confident using email, electronic calendars and Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
