The Program Officer, First Nations Strategy, provides high-quality project and administrative support to enable the effective implementation, delivery and reporting of State Library of Queensland's First Nations Strategy.
A key focus of this role is delivering proactive administration and communication support to the Director, First Nations Strategy, to ensure project deliverables are well-coordinated and achieved on time.

Your key responsibilities will be:
- Providing administrative support to the Director, First Nations Strategy, including preparing timely correspondence and documentation, coordinating workshops and events, and arranging travel.
- Assisting with planning, monitoring and tracking project deliverables and outcomes, including preparing reports, briefs and correspondence.
- Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, to progress activities and actions relating to the First Nations Strategy.
- Scheduling, planning and supporting meetings, including booking rooms, distributing agendas and minutes, and tracking actions and decisions.
- Contributing to the development and distribution of internal and external communications relating to the branch's work, including promoting initiatives through State Library communication channels.
- Fostering a positive and safe work environment by modelling conduct that is culturally capable, inclusive, respectful and ethical.
