About the Role
In this role you will deliver quality outcomes for children, young people and families (Leader of Self) in accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service and the CHQ values. Your contribution will include:
- Establish and maintain highly effective working relationships with other staff within the department to ensure the alignment and integration of operational services, processes and service levels
- Follow defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe, services and workplaces.
- Provide effective change management, capacity planning, incident management, risk management and continuity planning utilising best practices in systems support and service delivery, within the ITIL framework.
- Provide support to the Biomedical ICT Manager with the definition, documentation, and successful completion of small to medium scale projects in line with Queensland Health project management methodologies.
- Utilise appropriate design standards, methods and tools, consistent with agreed enterprise and solution architectures
- Ensure end to end service delivery for Biomedical Integration of Biomedical devices and systems used within Children's Health Queensland.
- Provide high level support on Biomedical Applications (RIS, PACs, VNA solutions highly desirable).
- Ensure end to end service delivery for systems within Queensland Health by establishing and maintain highly effective working relationships with other technical specialists, application specialists, vendors and end users.
- Provide timely activity reports, documentation and recommendations on the operational performance of Applications to stakeholders.
- Mentor team administrators and support personnel, provide guidance, ensure authorised processes and documentation is followed by team members, and correct non-compliance of service operations.
