Your opportunity:
- This position provides high level consultation, advice, support and leadership to the Prison Mental Health Service (PMHS) multidisciplinary team working with people in custody who have or are suspected of having a mental illness. The (Clinical Coordinator) is responsible for the coordination, ongoing development, review, and quality improvement of the mental health services provided by the PMHS team within the correctional environment.
- The (Clinical Coordinator) will also provide direct clinical care, including triage of referrals, assessment, discharge planning and brief interventions to people referred to the service. In addition, this position is expected to establish, foster, and maintain relationships with a range of other government and non-government agencies, including Prison Health Services (PHS) and Queensland Corrective Services in the ongoing care and treatment of persons with a mental illness.
Temporary Full Time (76 hours p.f.) from date of appointment for up to 6 months with the possibility of extension.

Our offer:
You will receive a competitive salary between $5,233.50 - $5,682.10 p.f (Nurse Grade 7) or $4,912.70 - $5,286.40 (HP4)., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 7/HP4) (Temporary Full Time, 76 hours p.f., from date of appointment for up to 6 months with the possibility of extension) (Applications will remain current for the duration of the vacancy).
