Lead early intervention mental health care for young people

Join Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services as a Senior Psychologist (HP4) within the headspace In-Reach Program in this permanent full-time role based at Logan Central Mental Health Centre. You will deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychology services to young people aged 12–25, supporting early intervention, complex mental health care and integrated treatment alongside a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

Your new role:

In this role you will provide advanced psychology services within the headspace In-Reach Program, supporting young people with complex mental health needs while contributing to service development and clinical leadership.

• Deliver psychological assessment, intervention and care planning
• Manage a complex caseload within a multidisciplinary youth mental health team
• Provide clinical supervision, guidance and support to junior clinicians
• Facilitate individual therapy, co-therapy and therapeutic group programs
• Contribute to service improvement, quality initiatives and research activities

About you:

You are an experienced psychologist with strong clinical expertise and a passion for improving mental health outcomes for young people through early intervention and collaborative care.

• AHPRA registration as a Psychologist with APAC-accredited qualifications
• Demonstrated experience managing complex mental health presentations
• Ability to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary clinical team
• Experience supervising, mentoring or supporting junior clinicians
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous service improvement
