Your new role:
In this role, you will lead the development and delivery of education programs that support clinical excellence in addiction and mental health nursing practice. You will work collaboratively with clinical leaders and multidisciplinary teams to strengthen workforce capability and promote a culture of learning and professional development.
- Design, implement and evaluate addiction and mental health nursing education programs
- Provide education leadership, mentorship and support to nursing staff and clinical facilitators
- Lead workforce capability initiatives aligned with clinical governance and best practice
- Support service improvement through education, quality initiatives and research activities
- Collaborate with clinical leaders to translate evidence-based practice into patient care
About you:
You are an experienced mental health nurse and educator who is passionate about developing the nursing workforce and improving patient outcomes through education, leadership and evidence-based practice.
- Current NMBA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Extensive experience in mental health and/or addiction nursing practice
- Demonstrated experience delivering clinical education and workforce development
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, education innovation and quality improvement
