Your new role:
As a Senior Dietitian and CBORD Database Manager, you will deliver high-quality Nutrition and Dietetics services while supporting food service operations across Metro South Health. Your role will involve:
- Managing the CBORD electronic foodservice system and supporting staff across multiple facilities including PAH, QEII, Bayside, and Logan Hospital.
- Delivering evidence-based nutrition care to patients, adapting complex clinical practices with minimal supervision.
- Providing supervision, guidance, and training to students, Allied Health Assistants, and less experienced clinicians.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes, quality initiatives, and service development.
- Leading enhancements in CBORD systems and food service processes, including quality improvement and research activities.
About you:
We are seeking a Dietitian who combines clinical expertise with technical and leadership skills. The ideal candidate demonstrates:
- Eligibility for Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status and strong nutrition and dietetics clinical experience.
- Experience in food service management, preferably with electronic foodservice systems (CBORD).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise, mentor, and guide students and staff.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and conflict resolution skills in multidisciplinary teams.
- Initiative in identifying, planning, and implementing service improvements and quality initiatives.

The Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) is a tertiary health care centre providing care in most major adult specialties. We provide world class health care to Brisbane City's southern suburbs across emergency, medical, mental health and surgical services, including liver and kidney transplant.
We are nationally recognised for our expertise in trauma management and organ transplants and are one of Australia's leading academic and research health centres. The PAH as a major medical research precinct hosts Australia's most advanced medical research facility, the Translational Research Institute (TRI) as well as a new Clinical Research Facility for the discoveries made at TRI to be trialed in a safe clinical environment.
