The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Psychologist - Senior (Rehabilitation Community) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 13 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Utilise high level clinical psychological skills for assessment, differential diagnosis and evidence-based treatment planning
- Routinely conduct both centre based and home visits to deliver high level psychology services
- Apply professional leadership and judgement to a complex clinical psychology caseload
- Provide professional supervision to less experienced psychologists and students
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
- Tertiary degree in Psychology
- AHPRA Registration
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Driver Licence
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

- Base salary ranging from $128,169 - $137,918 per annum
About Us
The Community Rehabilitation Program provides a comprehensive multidisciplinary, community based rehabilitation service to adult clients over the age of 18 years. The program delivers a goal oriented, clientcentred, holistic model of restorative and adaptive therapy which focuses upon optimising functional capacity and quality of life. Clients of the service can be either transitioning from hospital to home or referred back from the community with identified rehabilitation needs. Based at the Robina Health Precinct and offers group based programs and individual therapy sessions which can be delivered at the precinct or within the client's home. The multidisciplinary team delivers a broad range of clinical services including: Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Psychology, Neuropsychology, Social Work, Dietitian, Pharmacy, Nursing and Medical Consultation.
