The role
At the Centre for Leadership Excellence, we are transforming how learning is designed and delivered for Queensland Health employees. Our work goes beyond online modules to include blended programs, facilitator-led workshops, toolkits, and practical resources that build real capability.
We are seeking two experienced Principal Project Officers (Instructional Design) to lead the design and development of contemporary, high-quality learning solutions.
Reporting to the Manager, you will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to provide specialist learning and development advice and design engaging learning experiences across multiple formats — including workshops, toolkits, eLearning, video and other multimodal resources.
The successful person
You will demonstrate:
- Strong knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design methodologies.
- Experience designing and transitioning facilitated training into effective blended learning solutions.
- A proven ability to analyse, design, develop, implement and evaluate learning programs across a range of formats.
- Experience developing facilitator guides, learner workbooks, toolkits and performance support materials, in addition to digital learning.
Experience using Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Suite and MadCap is highly desirable.
This role suits a skilled instructional designer who enjoys collaborating with subject matter experts and applying best practice to create practical, engaging learning experiences.
